Monitor and manage CAM tasks

  • Use the Tasks page to address the approvals, control attestations, and all other items that are assigned to you and to your group.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > CAM Workspace and then select the tasks icon (Tasks icon.).
    2. Navigate to the appropriate tab.
      Note:
      When a user or user group doesn’t have pending or associated tasks, the All your tasks are done message appears for the tab.

      My pending tasks

      Monitor the pending tasks assigned to you. The All tab under the My pending tasks tab on the Tasks Page Configuration module displays the list of control classic attestations, grouped attestations, Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA) or Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), and others. If the tasks are relevant to you, then they’re populated under the My pending tasks section in the workspace UI.

      If you don’t have any assigned tasks, then no data is displayed under the My pending tasks tab. Only open and active tasks assigned to you’re listed under the My pending tasks tab.

      My group’s tasks
      Monitor the tasks assigned to the user groups that you belong to. The My group's tasks page displays the pending tasks assigned to the user groups that you belong to. When there are no pending tasks for the user group, a message displays that All tasks are completed. Select the group from the list for which you want to filter the tasks.
      My items
      Monitor the tasks assigned to you and the issues reported by you such as issues, policy exceptions, remediation tasks, and others. The My items tab displays the list of items that are either created by you or opened by you. For example, if you’re a system user then this tab lists the authorization packages and issues.
      Watchlist
      Monitor the tasks for which you are in the watchlist. The My watchlist tab configuration displays the list of tasks for which you are in the watchlist.
      Confidential records
      Mark sensitive records as confidential and verify that the appropriate people have access to these records. The Confidential records tab configuration displays the confidential records for the selected table.
