Retire a risk assessment methodology

Retire a risk assessment methodology (RAM) that is no longer used. Retiring unused RAMs makes it easier to manage the active RAMs for the risk administrator.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_risk.admin

About this task

When you retire a risk assessment methodology, it is important to note that you cannot make a retired RAM active again. You must also note that:

• all the factors associated with this methodology retire.
• the risk assessment scope retires.
• all open associated assessments retire.

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Advanced Risk Assessment > Administration > Risk Assessment Methodologies.
2. Select and open the risk assessment methodology that you want to retire.
3. Click Retire.
   The state changes to Retired.
