Update dependency details of a BIA in Self Service

Use contributor role to update the disruption duration of the impact category result, RPO Impact analysis responses, state of the impact dependency group, and the work notes in the Activity related item.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_bcm.contributor

If you are a BCM contributor and is part of the Contributors list, then you can update the dependency details of a business impact analysis (BIA).

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Self-Service > My Impact Analysis.
2. View the list of business impact analysis assigned to you and the BIAs that you can contribute to.
3. Click a impact analysis record.
4. Click the Impact Category Results related list.
5. Select any RTO impact assessment record to update its disruption duration details.
6. To update the impact analysis response, click the RPO impact category record.
7. To update the state of the impact dependency group, click the Impact Dependency Group related list.
   You can also add, update, and delete dependencies under the dependency group.
8. To add work notes to the BIA, click the Activity tab.
9. Click Update after your changes.
