Activate the common control objective creation skill

    • When activating the common control objective creation skill, the system uses generative AI to analyze the accepted duplicate control objectives and to generate a common control objective.

    Before you begin

    Install the ServiceNow Otto for IRM plugin (sn_irm_gen_ai).

    Role required: sn_nowassist_admin.nsa_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Admin Center > AI Admin Hub.
    2. In the AI Skills tab, navigate to Technology > Risk & Sustainability.
    3. On the Now Assist Features tab, under the Technology workflow group, select Risk & Sustainability.
      The IRM skills page lists the available generative AI capabilities for Policy and Compliance.
    4. On the General details page, review the information about the skill and then select Save and Continue.
      Note:
      This information is read-only.
    5. On the Summary fields page, review the columns that are being summarized to suggest the new common control objective and then select Save and Continue.
    6. On the Review and activate page, review the summary and select Activate.
      After activation, the Successfully Activated dialog box appears.
    7. In the Successfully Activated dialog box, select Return to IRM to navigate back to the IRM skills page.
