  • Use the Create Regulatory Agency form in the Privacy Workspace to create a regulatory agency. The regulatory agency is a new record type that handles regulatory changes.

    Name Name of the regulatory agency. For example, Australian Prudential Regulation Authority
    Summary Brief summary of the regulatory agency. For example, The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) is a statutory authority of the Australian Government and the prudential regulator of the Australian financial services industry.
    Description Detailed description of the regulatory agency.
    Acronym Acronym of the regulatory agency, if any. For example, APRA
    Logo Logo of the regulatory agency.
    Executive owner Person who is the head of the agency.
    Website link Link to the official website of the agency
    Classification
    Category Category for classifying the regulatory agency. The choices are as follows.
    • Regulatory
    • Legislative
    • Governmental
    • Others
    Scope Areas in which an agency operates and its specific products or services. For example, Bill, Decisions, Circulars. You can select more than one scope in this field.
    Sector Segment of the economy where different agencies or businesses engage in similar activity or provide similar products or services. For example, Banking.
    Theme Subject that is the core idea on which the agency is focused. For example, Anti-money laundering.
    Key dates
    Establishment date Date the agency was established. Future dates are not allowed in this field.
    Created Date the agency is created.
    Settings
    Functional domain Functional domain of the regulatory agency. This field is automatically set to Privacy when the regulatory agency is created from the Privacy Workspace.
