Respond to a privacy screening assessment

    • As an entity owner or a processing activity key stakeholder, respond to the privacy assessment that is initiated by the privacy lead.

    Role required: sn_privacy.assessment_responder, sn_privacy.business_user

    About this task

    While responding to an assessment, you can reassign the assessment to another user even if you have started the assessment. When you reassign the partially completed privacy assessment to another user, the data that is already provided also gets copied over and is available when the new assignee takes the assessment. This data can be modified by the new assignee.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Self Service > Employee Center > My active items > GRC tasks > My to-dos.
    2. Open the assessment assigned to you.
    3. Perform one of the following actions.
      ChoiceAction
      To take the assessment
      1. Select Accept work.
        Note:
        Accepting the work creates an assessment instance.
      2. In the Confirmation dialog box, provide your comments for the assessment.
      3. Select Accept work.
        Note:
        The privacy assessment moves to Work in progress.
      4. Select Take assessment.
      5. Respond to the questionnaire.
      6. Select Submit.
      To reassign the assessment
      1. Select Reassign.
      2. In the Reassign privacy assessment dialogue box, select an assignee.
        Note:
        You can only reassign the assessment to a user who is a key stakeholder and should have the privilege to respond to an assessment.
      3. In the Additional comments field, provide the reason for reassignment.
      4. Select Reassign.

    Result

    The responses are captured in the respective entity and the processing activity. The responses are then reviewed by the privacy teams.
