By default, only regulatory alerts in the New state are eligible for summarization, but this can be customized based on different states or conditions. Users with the sngrccompgenai.regchangeaiuser role, which must be manually assigned, can create these summaries.

Overview of a summary

You can quickly learn the details of a regulatory alert from the record summarization generated by the ServiceNow Otto summarization skill. By reading the regulatory alert summarization, you can get an overview of the alerts that are often high in volume. By default, regulatory alerts in the New state are eligible for summarization. You can, however, modify this behavior by defining custom states or conditions under which summarization should occur. You can also specify the different prompts and the fields from which you want to collect data to create the summary.

Note:

Only users with the sn_grc_comp_genai.reg_change_ai_user role can see the option to create a summary for a regulatory alert. This role must be manually assigned to an RCM user.
