View the assessments generated by event-driven management rules

  • When an event-driven management rule runs, it auto-generates and sends questionnaires and doc requests to third parties. You can view the current state (running, successful, or recalled) of all runs of rules. Select a record number to view details and to view the set of assessments generated by the rule.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_vdr_risk_asmt.vendor_risk_manager

    Procedure

    1. On the Vendor Management Workspace, use either of the following methods to start the process:
      • To view all DD requests and assessments for a particular rule:

        1. Select the list icon .
        2. In the Event-driven management rules list, select any option: Active, Inactive, or All.
        3. In the Event-driven management list, select any option: Active, Inactive, or All.
        4. Select a rule.
        5. On the Event-driven management history tab, select a run.
        6. Select the appropriate tab to view the DD requests or assessments that the rule sent.
      • To view the DD requests and assessments for a particular run of a rule:

        1. Select the list icon .
        2. In the Event-driven management list, select either option: Successful runs or Recalled runs.
        3. Select a run.
        4. Select the appropriate tab to view the DD requests or assessments that the rule sent.
    2. On the legacy interface, use the following method:
      • To view the DD requests and assessments for a particular run of a rule:
        1. Navigate to All > Third-party Risk Management > Event-driven management and then select either option: Successful runs, Recalled runs.
        2. Select a run.
        3. Select the appropriate tab to view the DD requests or assessments that the rule sent.
    3. Select the Details tab to view the record of a run.

      Each record includes the following read-only values:

      Number

      For each Event-driven management rule, the system auto-assigns a unique ID number that starts with the text EMR. In the history table of rule runs (executions), the system auto-assigns a unique ID number for each run that starts with the text EMH.

      The unique ID is used in all references to the item. You can use the ID to search or filter for the item that you want to work on.

      Trigger action
      • Scheduled job: The rule ran on the schedule specified for the Frequency setting.
      • Manual: The rule ran when a user selected Run now.
      Run start Date and time that the rule started to run.

      For rules that are currently running: The duration between the Run start timestamp and the current time indicates how long the rule has been running.

      If a rule seems to be stuck running for an excessive time:
      1. Go to Process automation > Flow Administration > Event Queue.
      2. Find the platform background task with a name that starts with sn_vdr or sn_tprm that is in the error state.
      Run complete The date and time that the rule ended a run.
      State
      • Running: The rule is currently running (questionnaires and document requests are being sent). For rules that are currently running: The duration between the Run start timestamp and the current time indicates how long the rule has been running.
      • Successful: The rule ran to completion and sent all questionnaires and doc requests to third parties.
      • Recalled: After the rule completed the run, a user recalled the questionnaires and document requests. See Recall event-driven questionnaires and doc requests.
