  • The Property form allows you to create a new property record within an investigative case, and capture as many identifiable details about the property as possible. Not all fields are mandatory, but a minimum amount of information is required for the record to be searchable within ICM.

    Property Search for an existing record in the master index to auto-fill its information. If the property record has not yet been created, skip this and enter the details manually.
    Name or short description Name or short description of the property.
    Type Property type.

    Firearm, Electronics, Jewelry, Narcotics, Clothing, Tools, Vehicle Parts, Documents, Miscellaneous, Unknown

    Make Make tag on the property, if any.
    Model Model tag on the property, if any.
    Manufacturer Name Manufacturer Name on the property, if any.
    Serial Number Serial number/tag on the property, if any.
    Value Estimated Value (USD or other currency)
    Status Status of the property.

    Seized, Destroyed, Returned, Stolen, Held for Court, Unknown

    Information Completeness Not all fields are mandatory, but a minimum amount of information is required for the record to be searchable within ICM. The information completeness field indicates whether or not that minimum requirement is met. Displays as Partial or Complete.
