Key Features
- Temporary Instance Provisioning: Customers receive access to a temporary instance pre-configured with Platform Analytics Content Packs focused on IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Customer Coaching Sessions: Two sessions are offered:
- Session #1 (up to 90 minutes): Overview and demonstration of Platform Analytics, architecture review, guidelines on leading and lagging indicators, and distinctions between reporting and Performance Analytics.
- Session #2 (optional, up to 60 minutes): Q&A session based on customer request.
- Access Duration: Thirty days of access to the provided temporary instance.
- Package Availability: Available to customers subscribed to Impact Guided, Guided+ (Strategic Value or Platform Governance), Advanced, and Total packages.
Customer Responsibilities and Resources
Successful engagement requires participation from key customer roles:
- Platform Owner (Required): Accountable for overall platform governance, leadership, and alignment with business strategy.
- System Administrator(s) (Required): Responsible for platform stability, maintenance, and managing ServiceNow software releases.
- Reporting Lead(s) (Required): Coordinates with the ServiceNow consultant and drives engagement actions.
- Process/Service Owner(s) (Recommended): Senior leaders accountable for ensuring processes are fit for purpose.
- Developer(s) (Recommended): Supports platform customization through coding.
- Trusted Service Partners (Recommended): May attend coaching sessions to understand best practices and provide ongoing support.
Important Considerations
- The Accelerator or parts of it may not be available in certain restricted environments such as FedRAMP, NSC DOD IL5, Australia IRAP-Protected data centers, or for self-hosted customers.
- ServiceNow resources provide guidance but do not implement Platform Analytics recommendations on customer sub-production or production instances.
- Customers should refer to the applicable Impact Package and Accelerator descriptions for detailed terms and resource requirements.

| Reporting Lead(s) (Required) | Meets with the ServiceNow Impact Accelerator Consultant, provides access to the required resources, and drives the actions from the engagement. |
| Process/Service Owner(s) (Recommended) | A senior leader within each business unit for each major process or service (e.g., incident, change, employee onboarding) who is accountable for ensuring the process is fit for purpose. |
| Developer(s) (Recommended) | Writes code for the ServiceNow platform. |
