The Health Assessment Dashboard in ServiceNow enables customers to review and prioritize best practice platform health findings through detailed scan reports. It supports collaboration with the Impact squad to address and improve overall platform health.

Accessible via Impact > Platform Health > Diagnose, the dashboard displays the total number of findings and compares them against a previous scan to track progress over time.
Key Features
- Assessment Categories: Findings are organized into five categories—Overall, Manageability, Performance, Security, Upgradeability, and User Experience—each displayed as interactive tiles with descriptions.
- Comparative Metrics: The dashboard shows current total best practice violations, previous totals with trend indicators, and the percentage change in health score since the last scan.
- Findings by Product: Breakdown of findings by specific applications on the instance, categorized accordingly.
- Action Priority Labels: Findings are labeled as Act (high priority, severity 1), Recommended (next priority, severity 2), or Discuss (non-critical improvements) to guide remediation focus.
- View Options: Two main views are available:
- Summary View: Displays aggregate findings and category breakdowns in tiles (default view).
- List View: Shows individual findings with detailed records logged during scans.
- Finding Details in List View: Each finding includes a unique identifier, short description, technical reference number, detailed context, total occurrences, and links to relevant knowledge base articles or product documentation for remediation guidance.
- Occurrences Link: Hyperlinked occurrence counts direct users to the instance location to address the specific issue.
- Package Availability: The Health Assessment Dashboard feature is included in Impact Guided, Advanced, and Total packages.

The Health Assessment displays the total number of findings and comparisons against a previous scan. The assessment report addresses the findings across five categories and also the total of the categories.

View the report by:
- Total findings: All detailed findings and the counts, comparison against previous scan, and live areas to take action
- Health Score %: Shows the increase or decrease in statistical score percentage since the previous scan
- Total findings by products: Breaks the scan findings by specific application on the instance, per category.

| Previous total | The number with the up or down arrow indicator represents the total number of best practice violations differences from the previous HealthScan for comparison. |
| Act | Highly recommended to address these findings, generally severity 1 priority issues. |
| Recommended | Recommended to address these findings next. These are generally a severity 2 priority. |
| Discuss | Findings that can make improvements, but are not a critical severity. |
Views
Select to view the assessment by summary view or list view. Toggle to the list view to show the individual findings records logged from the selected scan.
Summary view shows the total of the findings and the breakdown of findings for each category. By default, the Summary View is selected, displaying the assessment information in tiles.
List view displays the list of individual findings that were logged during a particular scan.
