# Run the AI readiness assessment job in AI Admin Center {#ariaid-title1}

Run the AI readiness assessment to analyze your instance and evaluate its readiness for AI adoption.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_na_center.nac_admin

## About this task

Follow these steps to run the AI readiness assessment job. The job performs an analysis of your instance data and produces readiness assessments. The assessments enable you to identify configuration gaps, measure readiness
over time, and accelerate the path to AI implementation.

The AI readiness assessment is performed with the Now Assist Readiness Evaluation application. ## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllAI Admin Center or WorkspacesAI Admin Center.  
   The AI Admin Center opens to the home page.

   The card in the AI readiness section displays a Start AI readiness assessment button if the assessment has not yet been run.

2. Select Start AI readiness assessment to run the assessment of your instance.  
   The AI readiness assessment may take several minutes to run.

   After the assessment is complete, the results display in a card showing your overall AI readiness status.

3. **Optional:** Re-run the overall AI readiness assessment at any time.
   1. Select AI readiness assessment (![AI readiness assessment icon.]()) in the side navigation bar.  
      The AI Readiness Assessment tab opens.

   2. Select Re-run assessment.

4. **Optional:** Re-run the individual AI readiness assessment for specified area of your instance at any time.
   1. Select AI readiness assessment (![AI readiness assessment icon.]()) in the side navigation bar.  
      The AI Readiness Assessment tab opens.
   2. Select View assessment in the card of an individual assessment.  
      The View Assessment tab opens showing the detailed results of a readiness assessment for the specified area of your instance.

   3. Select Re-run assessment.  
      Note:  
      The label of the button includes the assessment name. In the example of running the assessment for AI Search, the button label is Re-run AI Search assessment.
