# Manage lists in Collaborative Work Management {#ariaid-title1}

Access predefined lists and your own custom lists of records from any table, without leaving Collaborative Work Management (CWM).

## Lists in CWM {#cwm-lists__section_overview}

Lists is available under the Quick access section in the CWM left navigation, alongside My Work. Open predefined lists or build and save custom lists without navigating to All each time.

## Key benefits {#cwm-lists__section_benefits}

Lists provide the following benefits:

* Access predefined lists of frequently needed Agile and Connected Work records, organized by category.
* Build a custom list from any table, such as the Incident table, with the columns and conditions that matter to your team.
* Save custom lists for quick access instead of rebuilding the same filter each time.

## How it works {#cwm-lists__section_how_it_works}

Tip:  
Open the Lists panel using the keyboard shortcut Alt+L.

The Lists panel has two tabs:

* Default lists shows predefined lists organized into categories. It is further divided into the CWM and CWM Agile categories.
  * CWM includes Boards and Connected work.
  * CWM Agile includes Epics, My Epics, Stories, My Stories, Active Sprints, and Closed Sprints lists.

* My lists shows the custom lists that you create. This tab is empty until you create your first custom list. Selecting any list, predefined or custom, opens its records in the main list view. From there, you can filter, sort, and group the records. Selecting the name of a record opens it in a new tab. You can also create records and
edit them using the lists. Share the link for a list with users who have the appropriate permissions to view it.
