Create and manage monetary benefit plans to capture the potential benefits while executing your planning items.

## Before you begin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesPortfolio Planning Workspace and select a planning item.
2. From the list of portfolio plans, select a portfolio plan.
3. From the Prioritization or Roadmap tab, select the planning item to create a monetary benefit plan.  
   The full details page of the planning item is displayed.
4. Create a monetary benefit plan using one of the following options.

   | Option | Procedure |
   | Using Monetary benefit plan related list | 1. Select the Monetary Benefit Plans related list. 2. Select New. {#fin-manage-monetary-benefit-plans-ppw__ol_dhr_fmf_khc} |
   | Using finanicals record page | 1. Select the Financials tab. 2. Select New monetary benefit plan using the More actions option. {#fin-manage-monetary-benefit-plans-ppw__ol_jgx_jmf_khc} |

5. On the Benefit Plan form, fill the fields.

6. Select Save.

## Result

The newly created monetary benefit plan appears in the finanicals record page and in the monetary benefit plans related list.
