Adjust the resource assignment dates to match the latest dates of your demands when priorities or timelines change.

## Before you begin

Role required: it_demand_manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesPortfolio Planning Workspace.
2. Select the Demands icon ![]().
3. Open a demand from the List page.
4. Select Details from the navigation menu.
5. In the Planned start date field of the demand, modify the date.
6. Select Save.
7. Select the More Actions icon ![]() and select Realign assignments to demand.

## Result

The start date of the resource assignments is aligned with the new value in the Planned start date field of the demand.
