Create new certificate requests

  • Create new certificate requests manually through Service Catalog for a personalized and efficient procurement of certificates, providing greater flexibility and control.

    Before you begin

    Ensure that the Certificate Management catalog is enabled.

    Role required: pki_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Service Catalog > Certificate Management.
    2. Select Request New Certificate.
    3. Provide the necessary information for the following mandatory fields.
      • Certificate Signing Request
      • Certificate Authority
      • Certificate Type
      • Validity period
      • Approver
    4. Enter or select additional details on the form as needed.
    5. Select Submit.

    Result

    The Certificate task is generated and submitted for approval. The approval field is view-only for pki_user and editable for pki_admin.
