Stop or restart a data input in Health Log Analytics

    • You can stop using a data input for streaming log messages to your ServiceNow instance. Restart the data input if you want it to resume streaming data.

    Before you begin

    This functionality is available only when the data input configuration has been published.

    Role required: evt_mgmt_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Health Log Analytics > Data Input > Log Data Inputs.
    2. Open a data input record from the Data Inputs table.
    3. Select Stop Data Input.
      The name of the button changes to Start Data Input.
    4. To start using the data input again, select Start Data Input.
