Create a configuration key

  • Create a configuration key in Cloud Configuration Governance to use it in the policies. The configuration key specifies the resource collector and configuration collectors used to import the configuration data from the cloud. It also specifies the data type of the configuration value.

    Before you begin

    • Ensure that a resource collector is available for the resource type mentioned in the configuration key. If the resource collector is not available, you can create it. For more information, see Create a resource collector.
    • Role required: sn_itom_ccg.governor

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Cloud Configuration Governance > Configuration Keys.
    2. Select New.
    3. On the Configuration Key form, fill in the fields.

    4. Select Submit.
