Activate the Advanced Promotion Engine

    • Before you can use the Advanced Promotion Engine feature, you must activate it from the list of plugins.

    About this task

    To activate the var.adv-promo-eng, you also need to install a plugin for ACC-M, which includes Metric Intelligence plugin, as described in Exploring Agent Client Collector Monitoring.

    If you don't plan to use ACC-M, install Metrics Intelligence plugin only, as described in Get started with Metric Intelligence.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to System Definition > Plugins.
    2. Locate Advanced Promotion Engine (id: sn_metric_promote).
    3. Select the entry and review the app details on the Store Application Advanced Promotion Engine form.
    4. Select Activate/Upgrade in the Related Links section.
    5. Select Activate.
