Generate API invocation code for an exporter

Generate sample code of an API invocation for an exporter. The code can invoke the exporter. Select from several commonly used languages.

Before you begin

Important:

Starting with the Washington D.C. release, DevOps Config is being prepared for future deprecation. It will be hidden and no longer activated on new instances but will continue to be supported.

Role required: cdm_exporter_editor or cdm_editor or cdm_admin

Procedure

1. Prepare an exporter for execution as described in Test an exporter and export a snapshot.
   Tip:

   Test the exporter to verify its operation.
2. In the Evaluate menu, select Generate sample API.
   The Exporter API invocation sample dialog box opens.
3. Select the language.
   The system applies the settings that you specify and displays the resulting API sample in the text box.
4. Select Copy to clipboard.
   You can now paste the code into an editor for use in your code.
