Manage remedial actions in DEX incident investigation Playbook

  • View current and past remedial actions executed from different sources in the Playbooks panel. Monitor or cancel actions run from the Suggested resolutions or Action library within a DEX incident investigation page.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_dex.service_desk_user, sn_dex.engineer

    About this task

    You can monitor only current and past remedial actions and cancel ongoing actions run from the Suggested resolutions or Action library within the incident record.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
    2. Select the List icon from the navigation pane and navigate to the incidents list from the Incidents section.
    3. Open the incident record for a DEX monitored device and select the Investigation tab.
    4. Select the Playbook icon from the contextual side panel.
    5. Expand the device name accordion to view current actions.
    6. Optional: Monitor actions with the status of New or In Progress by selecting View Playbook on the action card.
    7. Optional: Cancel an ongoing action by selecting Cancel on the action card.
    8. Optional: View the history of past remedial actions with the status of Completed, Canceled, or Failed.
      1. Select the History icon in the Playbooks panel.
      2. Expand the device name accordion.
      3. Track stages of past actions by selecting View Playbook on an action card.
