You can schedule your own time off and suggest a suitable cover from among fellow
roster members.
Before you begin
To use this feature, the system administrator must enable the
Configuration to determine if PTO requests need
approval system property
(com.snc.on_call_rotation.pto.approval.required).
Role required: itil
Procedure
Navigate to On-call Scheduling > On-call Calendar.
Select the shift entry for the time off.
Click Schedule Time Off and fill in the
form.

The member getting time off (typically,

Starts and Ends
Start and end dates for the time
off.
Propose cover
Name of a roster member who can provide
cover in the absence.
All day event
Option to specify that the time-off period
involves full workdays.
Notes
Optional. Comments to help the shift
manager understand the request.
Click Schedule.
The time off is tentatively scheduled in your On-Call
calendar.
