Close resolved incident

  • Close an resolved incident when the user is satisfied with the provided resolution.

    Before you begin

    Role required: itil_admin or admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Service Operations Workspace > List > Incident.
    2. In the Incident section, select Resolved.
      List of incidents with Resolved state is displayed.
    3. Open an incident record with Resolved state.
      For more information on viewing and updating incident information and resolution, see View and update incident information on the Overview tab in SOW.
    4. Select Close.

    Result

    The incident record is closed and a success message is displayed. You cannot further edit the field values in the incident form.
