Define the purpose

    • Specify the purpose of the similar records model. You can select the prediction table for which predictions will be generated. Then, select the training table (Incidents, Problems, or Change Requests) which will appear as predictions based on similarities between their selected fields.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Select the prediction table.
    2. Select any of the following training tables.
      • Incident
      • Problem
      • Change request
      UI of the "Define the purpose" page
    3. Select  Save & continue.

    Result

    Now that the purpose of the model is defined, you can start training it. For more information, see Train the similarity model.
