Plan your walk-up experience visit with Employee Center

  • Schedule a single or multiple appointments to visit the walk-up lounge or the support lounge Walk-up Experience Employee Center. You can also get remote help.

    About this task

    Employee Center portal enables users to easily scale their service solutions across departments, such as IT, HR, Workplace, Legal, and Procurement with digital workflows. This unified portal goes beyond the basic service delivery to provide a platform for communications, engagement, and content experiences. For more information, see Employee Center.

    • Use Employee Center to schedule a walk-up appointment to get help, such as to request for new hardware, update software, or upgrade your system.
    • You can make an appointment, request for the next open appointment, or see your upcoming appointments.

    Procedure

    1. Launch the Employee Center service portal in your browser.
    2. On the portal home page, select the IT topic from the mega menu..
    3. Select the link Walk-up: Plan your visit.
      Alternatively, select Walk-up visits under the My active items widget.
    4. On the walk-up check-in page, either join the queue or schedule an appointment for the future.
    5. Select the Schedule an appointment tab.
    6. Select a reason for your visit.
    7. Click the calendar icon (Calendar icon) and select an available time slot.
    8. Select the type of appointment.
      Note:
      You can choose the type of appointment only if the location accepts both, in-person and remote appointments.
      Appointment type Description
      In-person If you want to visit the walk-up lounge in person.
      Remote If you want to get remote help.
    9. Select Schedule appointment.
      Note:

      You can also schedule multiple appointments based on the selected location. When you reach the maximum appointment booking limit, a message is displayed.

    Result

    A success message is displayed. The details of the appointment are displayed under the Your upcoming appointments section.

    You can also see your upcoming appointments under the My active items widget on Employee Center home page.
