Create an appointment through incident

  • Schedule an appointment on behalf of a requester through an incident record.

    Before you begin

    Role required: itil or admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Workspace Experience > Agent Workspace Home.
    2. From the navigation list, select List.
    3. Under Incidents, select Open or Assigned to me.
    4. Select the incident for which you want to schedule an appointment.
    5. On the Details tab, select the More actions icon.
    6. From the drop-down list, select the option Book walk-up appointment.
    7. In the Walk-up Appointment Booking window, enter the required details to book an appointment on behalf of the requester.
    8. Select Submit.

    Result

    • A walk-up appointment record is created.
    • The Walk-up Appointment tab appears in the related list. The Walk-up Appointment related list must be added to the platform manually.
    • The requester is notified of the appointment. The requester can also see the appointment created on the home page under the My active items widget.
