Pre-seeding employee skills
The Skills Foundation application can automatically detect skill gaps and prompt the employee to add pre-seeded, or necessary, skills to their profiles. This way, the employee profile is always kept up to date.
About pre-seeding
Pre-seeding refers to the automated inclusion of essential skills that are required for a specific role without the need for employees to manually list them. The Skills Foundation application uses natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract and categorize these skills from resumes or LinkedIn profiles. These necessary skills are automatically detected by the system and are notified to the employee when they’re onboarded with the help of Proactive Prompts.
How pre-seeding works
The application is constantly analyzing anonymous profiles or resumes with selected job portals. It extracts the skills and tracks what titles people use in their resumes. The application can also extract more information to provide customizable solutions that are unique to your requirements.
The application matches the information that is provided by the employee in the form of resumes or LinkedIn profiles. By using AI models, the application analyzes this information and detects that this employee should have certain foundational skills that seem to be missing in their profile. This prompt with the pre-seeded skills helps your employees to update their skills.
The following example shows how an employee receives a prompt with pre-seeded skills.
In the example, the employee received a notification that is based on what the application knows about that employee. The application notices that there’s a skill gap in their profile and then prompts the employee to add the needed information to the profile to remove the skill gap.
