Request an exception for Dynamic Mapping

  • Request an exception on policies that are dynamically mapped to conditions.

    시작하기 전에

    You need to have the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) application installed to have the Request Exception button to show up on the mappings list. If you don't have the GRC application, see the Download a GRC application from the ServiceNow Store for the first time topic.

    Role required: sn_pace.admin

    프로시저

    1. Navigate to > Mappings > Dynamic Mappings.
    2. Select the check box of the mapped policy you want to request an exception for.
    3. Click Request exception.
      Request Policy Exception page.
    4. In the Request policy exception form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Deployable Select the name of the deployable you want to request an exception for.
      주:
      The list of deployables is not filtered and all possible deployables will be available to be selected without filtering based on the dynamic mapping condition.
      Reason for exception Select a reason type why the exception is being requested.
      Policy Name of the policy.
      Business justification Explanation why the exception is being requested.
      Requested start date Select the date when this exception is submitted.
      Requested end date Select a date when you want this exception to be approved by.
    5. Click Request.
