# Create and use Core UI dashboards {#ariaid-title1}

Learn about what you can do with a Core UI/responsive dashboard.  
Important :  
You cannot create Core UI dashboards on instances that were net new on Xanadu or later. On instances that were net new on older releases, you can continue to create Core UI dashboards, even if the instance was fully migrated to Platform Analytics.

Core UI dashboard backgrounds are not themeable with custom colors.

Use dashboards to share reports and other data visualizations, filters, and other content with people across your organization.
