Delete a report

    Before you begin

    Role required: report_admin, or be the owner of the report

    This topic refers to Reporting in the Core UI. For instances migrated to Platform Analytics experience and new Australia instances, see Delete a visualization in the Visualization Designer.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to sys_report.list.
      On instances upgraded to Australia, Core UI reports are listed in the Platform AnalyticsData Visualizations library with the UI version Core. Delete a visualization in the Visualization Designer
    2. Select the report to delete.
    3. On the report's form, select View Report.
    4. When the report opens, select the Delete icon (Delete icon).
    5. Confirm that you want to delete the report.

    Result

    The selected report is removed, and is no longer available to share, publish, or view.

    Delete multiple reports

    Delete multiple Core UI reports that are no longer used.

    Before you begin

    Role required: report_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Platform Analytics > Library > Data visualizations.
    2. Select the boxes next to the Core UI reports that you want to delete.
    3. Select Delete.
    4. Confirm that you want to delete the reports.
      This action is not reversible.

    Result

    The selected reports are removed, and are no longer available to share, publish, or view.
