Reopening and resubmitting a forecast

    • Adjust the values of a submitted forecast by reopening it and resubmitting the updated forecast within the current submission window.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_sales_forecast.submission_writer

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace.
    2. Select the List icon .
    3. Navigate to My lists > Sales Forecast > My Forecast Submissions.
    4. Open the submitted forecast that you want to modify.
    5. On the Submission Entry page, select Reopen Submission.
      Reopen Submission is available only when the submission belongs to the current submission window, even if its state is Completed. You can't reopen a submission from a submission window that has already passed.
    6. On the Reopen Submission dialog box, select Reopen.
      You can reopen the submitted forecast only if your forecast model allows resubmission of a submitted forecast. For more info, see Configure Forecast Model.
    7. Update the values that you want to modify.
    8. Select Submit Forecast to resubmit the forecast.
      The forecast is resubmitted and the state changes back to Completed.
