Multi-Instance View Overview
Explain what MIF is, when to use it, and key benefits
Multi-Instance View enables you to view Instance Clone operations across multiple linked instances on the Clone Admin Console. Instead of logging into each instance separately, you can view all clones and their status from a primary instance.
Instance Clone multi-instance view
Use Instance Clone Multi-Instance View to manage clones centrally across multiple linked instances. Instead of logging into each instance individually, administrators submit clone requests, monitor status, and manage configurations from a primary instance.
Some of the key benefits of using Multi-Instance View are:
- View all clone requests across instances on the Clone Admin Console
- See which instances were last cloned and how recently
Consider implementing Multi-Instance View if you need:
- Centralized visibility into clone status and history across all instances
- Quick identification of stale instances needing data refresh
- Unified management without logging into each instance separately
Note:
Once the Multi-Instance View feature is set up, you can view clone records from other instances from the Origin Instance option on the Clone Activity page and the
Instance Overview page.
