# Create a document template

Create a document template to define how architectural documents are generated from diagrams and architectural artifacts in Enterprise Architecture Workspace.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to WorkspacesEnterprise Architecture Workspace.
2. Open the Setup page by selecting the Setup icon (![setup icon.]()).
3. Select the expand row icon (![expand row icon.]()) next to Templates.
4. Select Document Templates.
5. Select New.  
   Fill in the details. For field information, see [Document template form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/qykDLX2aXWOxAHSFQ7NU5g "Use the document template form to create document template that can be used in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace.").
6. Select Save.

## O que Fazer Depois

After creating a document template, you must define the content schema that determines what information is fetched from the diagram and related architectural records.
