The widgets and quick links available on the contractor service center web interface provides a self-service access to the contractor to complete all tasks safely.

Contractor Service Center improves contractor productivity by reducing the time and effort contractors spend looking for services, updates, and information. The Contractor Service Center is a hub that helps organizations to assemble a contractor portal tailored to their needs.
The contractors gain self-service access on the portal to the following:

* My Tasks section populates all the tasks assigned to the contractor by the company or by the safety contractor coordinator. Use this section to complete pre-qualification tasks and upload requested documents. Selecting My Tasks tab, opens a form. The form shows the Open and Completed tabs. The Open tab lists all to-dos that haven't been completed. The Completed tab lists all tasks that have been completed. The currently completed tasks appear at the top of the list and sorted by timestamp. For example, when a documentation upload task is assigned to the contractor, it's available in the Open tab of My Tasks option. When selected, the details appear with an option to add attachments. Once all the requested attachments are added, the contractor can select Mark complete or Mark in progress to obtain further documents.
* My Requests tab lets you view all the requests you have raised. For example, you can track a permit-to-work request here. Your requests display with the current request first in the list. When you select a request under the Open tab, you can view the details of the request raised.
* Knowledge base widget enables access to the investigation plans, safety statements, Health and Safety contacts list, and Health and Safety submission guidelines.
* Safety registers widget provides access to view and download Safety Data Sheet for chemicals, asbestos, and other hazardous materials. For more information, see [Access a safety register document in Employee center](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/u3ZclYBVblOHdXq~knSq6A "Access and view safety register documents for chemicals and asbestos through the Employee Center.").
* Password reset widget enables you to change you password. The password reset communication takes place through the registered email of the contractor.
* Report Health and Safety incident widget enables you to raise a safety incident. For more information, see [Submit a safety incident as an employee](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/DAkCyyb6rQZpX~ymDJxiVA "Submit a safety incident through the Employee Center to report it to the safety department for an investigation.")
* Report Health and Safety observation widget enables you to raise a safety observation. For more information, see [Submit a safety observation as an employee](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/wmffNBrzLw2BxyqkpoU87A "Submit a safety observation through the Employee Center to report it to the safety department for an investigation.")
* Request a permit to work widget enables you to request a permit to work. For more information, see [Create a permit-to-work request](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/ONgr3wS1ihqcGJXjE1_RPQ "The permit-to-work request is submitted by the worker who will be carrying out a job with significant risk.")
