Deferred loading helps delay the loading of a resource or widget to improve the overall usability of the page.

The deferred load is available for the following widgets.

* Content Experience
* Quick Links
* News Feed
* Popular Topics
* Relevant for you
* App Launcher
* My active Items

## Procedimento

1. Follow one of the steps:
   1. Navigate to AllService PortalService Portal ConfigurationWidget Editor.
   2. On the Employee Center home page, press and hold the control key, right-click the widget, and select Page in Designer.

2. Click the Defer load icon.
3. Fill in the following fields as explained in [Configure widget loading order in Service Portal](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=configure-widget-loading-order&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US).

4. Click Save.

## Resultado

Defer loading of the widget is enabled.
