# Restrict access to a quick link

# Restrict access to a quick link {#ariaid-title1}

Restrict access to quick links by setting the user criteria, which allows access only
to specific users, groups, roles, and more.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sp_admin, taxonomy_manager or taxonomy_admin and
user_criteria_admin

## Procedimento

1. Do one of the following:  
   * (If you have the sp_admin role) Navigate to Employee CenterQuick Links.
   * Navigate to Content TaxonomyQuick Links.

   The Quick Link module displays the list of existing quick links.
2. Click a quick link that you want to restrict access to.
3. Click the Available For tab.

   | Add a new user criteria | 1. Click New. 2. On the form, fill in the fields.    | Edit an existing user criteria | 1. Click Edit. 2. On the Edit Members form, select the required roles, users, and groups from the Collection column and move them to the Available For List column by clicking the right arrow icon (![Right arrow icon.]()). 3.
