## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

The Journey designer application includes roles with the permissions necessary
for that user to complete tasks. For more information on the roles installed with
Journey designer, refer to [Roles](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/Sekl49lm~sxDYJkebU42fw#components-installed-with-jny-dsgnr__sec-roles-installed).

As an administrator, you can assign users to roles to enable them to perform tasks in
Journey designer.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllJourney designerManage Roles. {#jny-dsgnr-manage-users-roles__step-jny-dsgnr-role-task}
{#jny-dsgnr-manage-users-roles__step-jny-dsgnr-role-task}
2. Select the role that you want to add a user to.
3. In the User Roles form, select New.
4. From the User list, select a user.
5. Select Submit.
