Associate an existing legal matter with a legal request that is
similar to provide helpful information in resolving the request.

Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_fulfiller

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

As a collaborator added to a legal matter, you can access and work on the legal matter just as matter owners can. However, you can't modify the Matter owner,
Assignment group, and Assignment group permission fields.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllLegal RequestLegal Counsel Center.
2. In the Legal Counsel Center tab, select the list icon (![List icon]()).
3. In the Lists tab, open a legal request by selecting an option under Legal Requests.

   | Option | Steps |
   | As an assignee | 1. Select the Assigned to Me option. 2. Select a request to work on. 3. If the request is newly assigned to you, select Start Work to start working on the request. 4. To associate an existing matter, in the Legal Matters tab, click Add.
5. In the Add Legal Matter dialog box, select a legal matter you want to add to the request and click Add.

## Resultado

The selected legal matter is associated with the legal request and shows up in the list in the Legal Matters tab.
