Submit a privacy assessment request for yourself or on behalf of another user to seek services from the legal department.

If you have the Legal Virtual Agent Conversations application installed on your instance, you can submit a privacy assessment request through the Virtual Agent chat. For more information, see [Legal Virtual Agent Conversations](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/YZUJX4E9HFyq154TUNCysw "The ServiceNow Legal Virtual Agent Conversations application provides predefined conversation topics to enable automated chats with employees seeking legal services. You can build new topics or customize predefined topics to handle common legal requests from employees or guide them through self-service tasks.").

## Procedimento

1. Open privacy assessment intake form, using one of the following options.

   | Using Employee Center | 1. Navigate to AllEmployee Center 2. Select Legal from the header. 3. Select Privacy and Data. 4. Select Privacy Assessment. {#submit-legal-privacy-assessment-request__ol_vgq_vng_hxb} |
   | Using Legal Service Portal | 1. Navigate to AllLegal RequestLegal Service Portal 2. Select Service Catalog. 3. Select the expand icon ![Expand icon]() on Legal Requests from the left panel. 4. Select Privacy Requests. 5. Select Privacy Assessment. {#submit-legal-privacy-assessment-request__ol_ebm_hng_hxb} |

2. On the Privacy Assessment form, provide a description of the project or initiative for which you need the privacy assessment and the project sponsor.
3. Indicate whether personal data is involved in the Is personal data involved? field.
4. If you have selected Yes to indicate that personal data is involved, fill in the details for additional fields as following.
5. Select Submit.

## Resultado

* A privacy assessment request is created in the New state.

* The request is assigned to a group or user in the legal department based on the assignment rule set in the associated practice area. For more information, see [Assignment rule to automatically assign legal requests or matters](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/GmEiLT_hSnsPSBeqiCjDMw "Create an assignment rule for an intake form to assign the associated legal request or matter to a user or group.").
* If the administrator has configured notifications, you receive notifications about the progress of the request.
