Create customized mentoring programs that can be adopted by a mentee.

Mentoring admins can create multiple mentoring programs. Employees and managers use the Employee Center portal to enroll as mentors or mentees. ## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_ecn.mentoring_admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllMentoringPrograms.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Name | Name of the program. |
   | Minimum duration | The minimum number of moths that the mentoring program lasts. |
   | Maximum duration | The maximum number of months that the mentoring program lasts. |
   | Default duration | The default number of months that the mentoring program lasts. |
   | User criteria | Records that contain lists of users that can participate in a mentoring program. See, [Create User Criteria Records](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=create-user-criteria-record-in-knowledge-management&version=australia&pubname=australia-servicenow-platform&ft:locale=en-US). |
   | Auto complete overdue mentoring | When selected, a mentoring program is automatically closed when it's overdue. |
   | Auto complete grace period | The number of months to wait before auto-completing overdue program. |
   | Short description | A brief description of a mentoring program that is visible in the UI that lists the program. |
   | Description | A longer more detailed description of the mentoring program. |

4. Select Submit.
