# Edit mentor preferences

As a mentor, edit your preferences based on your skills, focus areas, and topics of
interest that you would like to discuss with your mentor.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: none

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllEmployee CenterYour careerMentoringOverview.
2. Select Edit mentor preferences for the listed mentoring program.  
   Available mentoring programs are visible for users that meet the user criteria of the mentoring program. Not all mentoring programs are listed for all users.
3. On the Mentor preferences form, fill in the fields.  
   For a description of the field values, see [Mentor preferences form](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/YzAdWbbG1qpAGXvKRtacCQ "Use this form to record your preferences as a mentor.").
4. Select Save and close.
