# Install and configure Opportunity Marketplace {#ariaid-title1}

Admins install and configure the Opportunity Marketplace (OPM) application and configure features.  
Follow these steps to configure Opportunity Marketplace:

1. [Install Opportunity Marketplace](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/mAqK5dFnK5us57sJnuQBtw "Opportunity Marketplace (OPM) is a key application that works as part of the Talent Development suite of applications. OPM improves employee engagement and retention with internal mobility.")
2. Assign the `sn_opp_market.admin` role to users so they can configure and manage Opportunity Marketplace

4. (Optional) Users with the `sn_opp_market.admin` role can [create Custom Opportunity Types](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/2UkPxru8SNAu~KZqLR5sPg "Opportunity Marketplace comes with 3 base system Opportunity types. If you need a different opportunity type, you can create custom opportunity types to meet the needs of your organization.
