Initiate sync with Microsoft Places for a building, its floors, and its spaces.

## Antes de Iniciar

Ensure that the location hierarchy is configured in Workplace Core. For more information, see [Providing your workplace data](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/pJzMuoSmEXahyEOTOhKliQ "In the Workplace Core application, provide data related to your workplace locations and designate workspaces.").

Role required: sn_wsd_core.admin and Microsoft Places Admin

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

You can sync your location hierarchy information from ServiceNow Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) to Microsoft Places. This sync allows Microsoft Teams users to view and book spaces (like meeting rooms and desks) that you
manage in ServiceNow.
Microsoft Places only supports Meeting Rooms and Desks as the space types. Any space types synchronized with Microsoft Places are displayed as rooms or desks.
Nota:
The Space Types that are synced with Microsoft Places are based on the sn_ms_teams_wsd.desk_space_type_ids property. You can add comma separated system IDs of the space types that you want to sync with Microsoft Places to the property.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllWorkplace CoreSpace AdministrationBuildings.
2. From the Buildings list, select the building that you want to sync with Microsoft Places.
3. In the Related Links section, select Sync with Microsoft Places.
The system starts synchronizing the buildings, floors, and then spaces to Microsoft Places.
   Nota:
In the sn_ms_teams_wsd.desk_space_type_ids system property, you can add comma separated system IDs of the space types that you want to sync with Microsoft Places.
4. **Opcional:** Check the Sync log table for any errors.
You can open the Sync log table by entering <kbd class="ph userinput">sn_ms_teams_wsd_sync_log.list</kbd> in the navigation search.

## Resultado

After sync is enabled for a building, any changes made to the buildings, floor, or spaces are periodically synced with Microsoft Places. The periodic sync is handled by the Run Sync Flow WSD to MS Place
and Run Error Flow WSD to MS Place scheduled jobs.

## O que Fazer Depois

You can verify your synced data in the following Microsoft apps:
Importante:
To view synced locations in Outlook or Teams, you need the Teams Professional License.

* Microsoft Places Portal: You can browse synced locations in the Buildings section.
* Microsoft Outlook: You can search for synced meeting rooms while creating a new meeting on the calendar.
* Microsoft Teams: You can navigate to the Places tab and search for the building to verify the synced locations.

{#sync-building__ul_ol1_fwr_c3c}

To sync multiple buildings for the first time, you can decrease the repeat interval of the Run Sync Flow WSD to MS Place scheduled job to speed up the sync process. You can also run the job manually based
on your preference.

To disable the automatic sync, you can set the sn_ms_teams_wsd.sync_enabled system property to <kbd class="ph userinput">false</kbd>.
