# Add space recommender rules to a space recommender rule set

Add rules to a space recommender rule set based on which qualifying spaces must be calculated when a space assistance request is raised using the Workplace Service Portal. A rule set is a collection of rules.

## Antes de Iniciar

Ensure the following:

* Workplace Case Management is installed.
* Workplace Core is installed.
* Space recommender rules are already created. Otherwise, [Create a Space Recommender rule](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/ow_6r_nUbsBahsxXKH4i4A "Define a space recommender rule using which the qualifying spaces must be calculated when a user raises a space assistance request using Workplace Service Portal. You must have Workplace Central plugin.").
* Space recommender rule set is already created. Otherwise, [Configure a Space Recommender Rule set](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/KdN~9Owj42FSdq7nWqHq2w "Create a space recommender rule set consisting multiple rules. The rule set calculates the qualifying spaces when a user submits a space assistance request using the Workplace Service Portal. You must have Workplace Central plugin.").

Role required: sn_wsd_core.admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllWorkplace CoreAdministrationSpace Recommender Rule sets.
2. Select the space recommender rule set to which you want to add the rule.
3. On the form, scroll down to the Space Recommender Rules related list.
4. Click Edit....
5. On the Edit members form, set the filter option Active to True.
6. Select the rules by doing the following:
   1. Select the rules from the Collection column on the left.
   2. Move the selection to the Space Recommender Rules List column on the right.  
      To move the rule, use the add/remove icon (![Add remove time slot icon]()).
   3. Click Save.

## Resultado

The space recommender rule is added to the selected space recommender rule set.
