## New in the Australia release {#sales-forecasting-rn__sales-forecasting-rn-new-features}

[Real-time forecast rollup updates](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=using-sales-forecasting&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Enhance forecast accuracy, reduce latency in pipeline views, and support faster, more informed decision‑making by triggering on‑demand recalculation for your hierarchy without having to wait for scheduled jobs.

[Configurable Forecast Owner and Rollup Owner](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=configure-sales-forecasting&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Improve parallel forecasting across different product lines or business structures by configuring Forecast Owner and Rollup Owner in the Forecast Model to define ownership and roll‑up responsibility.

[Support for multiple configurable forecast models](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=configure-forecast-model&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Define and manage forecasting rules beyond the default model by configuring up to ten forecast models to support different forecasting structures.

[Multi-Period forecast rollups within a single Forecast Model](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=configure-forecast-model&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Achieve better planning and strategy by configuring and managing forecasting for multiple time periods (weekly, monthly, quarterly) within a single forecast model for flexible data reporting.

[Product Family based forecasting](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=using-sales-forecasting&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Enable forecast owners to configure forecasting with product family as a secondary hierarchy with the primary hierarchy as territory or sales team. This feature enables forecast managers to submit forecasts for the product
families they own and provides real-time rollups by product family and the primary hierarchy.

[Enable forecasting at base forecast source](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=using-sales-forecasting&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Provide forecast owners and managers with visibility into the opportunities and line items contributing to each forecast number, directly from the dashboard. Support forecast creation, submissions, and adjustments at the
individual record level, such as opportunity and opportunity lines.

[Resubmit forecast submissions](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=reopening-and-resubmitting-a-forecast&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Enable users to reopen and modify completed forecast submissions in the current submission window. After making adjustments to the forecast values, users can resubmit a forecast. Admins can enable or disable resubmission for
    each forecast model.

[Customize the forecast dashboard view](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=using-sales-forecasting&version=australia&pubname=australia-order-management&ft:locale=en-US)
: Enable forecast viewers to customize their dashboard view by selecting which columns to display and saving their preferences for future sessions. The grid automatically adjusts column widths to distinguish forecast
categories. Users can choose different sets of columns for different forecast models.
