Create and apply filters the summary of active records (VITs, AVITs, CVITs and CTRs)

    • As a vulnerability manager and analyst, you can filter the desired records to visualize their summary on the Home page of the Vulnerability Manager Workspace.

    Before you begin

    Role required:
    • sn_vul.vulnerability_analyst, or sn_vul.vulnerability_admin for host vulnerable items (VITs)
    • sn_vul.app_sec_manager for application vulnerable items (AVITs)
    • sn_vul_container.vulnerability_analyst or sn_vul_container.vulnerability_admin for container vulnerable items (CVITs)
    • sn_vulc.admin for configuration test results (CTRs)

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Vulnerability Manager Workspace > Home page.
    2. Select the Gear icon Gear icon, and then select Create filter in the Host Vulnerabilities, Container Vulnerabilities, Application Vulnerabilities or Configuration Test Results tabs.
    3. On the Create Filter pop-up window, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Filter Name Name for the filter.
      Conditions Condition to show only the records for which you want to see visualizations.
      Refresh Daily Update the visualization information every day.
    4. Select Save.
    5. View the visualizations for the filtered records by selecting the new filter in the View by field.

    6. To update or delete a filter:
      1. Select the Gear icon Gear icon and then select Edit filter.
      2. On the Saved Filters pop-up window, select the filter you want to update or delete.
      3. Update or delete the filter.
        Action Steps
        Delete the filter. Select Delete.
        Modify the filter name Edit the filter name and select Update.
        Change the filter conditions Edit the condition to display information only for certain records and select Update.
        Refresh Daily Determine whether to refresh the visualization information every day and select Update.
