Map a card to a section

    • Map the card to the section under which it must appear.

    Before you begin

    Ensure that both the DEX Desktop Assistant plugin [sn_dex_desktop] plugin and the Desktop Assistant application have been installed. For more information, see Install DEX Desktop Assistant and Download and install Desktop Assistant.

    Role required: sn_dex_desktop.admin

    About this task

    By default, Desktop Assistant provides: My Resources.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Desktop Assistant > Configuration > <section_name>.
    2. In the Section to Card Mappings section, select New.
      Page where you can map a specific card to a section in you Home page.
    3. In the Desktop Assistant Card field, select the card you have created.
    4. In the Order field, select an order number for the card.
      The order number is the sequence in which the card is positioned in the section.
    5. Select Submit.

    Result

    The card is displayed under the specific section that you have selected.
