Open Desktop Assistant
Open or log in to Desktop Assistant to get an easy access to ServiceNow functionalities such as your applications, system activity, your requests, network speed of your system, and Employee Center.
Before you begin
Ensure that both the DEX Desktop Assistant plugin [sn_dex_desktop] plugin and the Desktop Assistant application have been installed. For more information, see Install DEX Desktop Assistant and Download and install Desktop Assistant.
Role required: sn_dex_desktop.user or sn_dex_desktop.admin
About this task
If you see the Incompatibility application version detected message, contact the administrator.
Note:
The administrator should navigate to Install DEX Desktop Assistant on their instance and use one of the provided methods to install the latest version of Desktop Assistant.
