Using DEX Application and Device Health
Application and Device Health is a powerful tool that can help you monitor and manage your IT environment from an end-user's perspective. It provides a range of features that can help you gain insight into how your users are interacting with the technology they use on a daily basis.
- The Home page: Provides immediate visibility about the total number of alerts, impacted users, active users, active devices, end-users world map and a dedicated alerts section to provide details of the application alerts.
- The Users page: Provides a centralized hub for accessing user-related data, including individual alerts, associated devices, and location information, streamlining management and enhancing user experience. The user details page is designed to help you understand how the users are interacting with the application, and to identify areas where improvements may be needed.
- The Application page: Serves as a central hub where users can get visibility on the applications that are being monitored, the type of the application, the number of incidents and alerts associated with each of those applications, and number of impacted users.
- The Devices page: Provides detailed information on each device, including user assignment status, last login timestamp, matching assignments, device status, active alerts, and incidents, enabling comprehensive device management and improved operational efficiency.
- The DEX Administration page: Provides information on applications, policies, metric rules, users, administrators. You can also track Agent Client Collector installations in Agent Health. You also have the Desktop Assistant usage metrics to keep tab on your connection status ensuring seamless communication with the ServiceNow instance.
