    Before you begin

    This integration with external tools is accessible as part of the DevOps Change Velocity. For more information, see DevOps Change Velocity integrations and Integrating DevOps Change Velocity with third-party tools.

    About this task

    The data coming from the integrated external tools provide you with insights into the breakdown of product enhancements into epics and their stories. This data also enables you to create and automate policies and determine whether the release meets the release exit criteria. For more information, see View and manage data from external tools.

    You can also track the software quality of your releases on the Release Quality dashboard that uses this data to show up on different widgets.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Digital Product Release Workspace.
    2. Select the tools icon (Tools icon.).
    3. Select the Connect a tool.
      The Connect to a tool dialog box appears.

    4. Select a tool category, select a tool, and then give it a name.
    5. Select Next and follow the guided experience to connect and configure the tool.
